← Back to Avenue K 36-inch Transmission Main, Phases I and II, Los Angeles County Waterworks District No. 40

Cannon’s services include the preparation and design of final plans and specifications for 16,000 feet of 36-inch cement mortar lined and coated steel pipe. Both transmission main phases are designed to improve water reliability in the 2555 PZ. A large portion of the project will cross the Union Pacific Railroad. Numerous crossings of water, gas, telephone, sewer, and storm drains along Avenue K are also included. The pipeline will be installed by the jack and bore method. Cannon’s scope of work includes coordination with railroad personnel to obtain required permits and authorization to cross the railroad’s right-of-way, as well as preparation of the topographic survey, plans, specifications, plans, bid documents, and engineer’s cost estimate for the transmission main. During construction, Cannon will provide consulting services for submittal review, RFIs, billing review, site visits, as-built drawings, and assistance with the final punch list.
