Overview

Back in 1997, Cannon began providing land planning and engineering services to achieve approval of the Orcutt Area Specific Plan, and later, that area’s annexation into the City of San Luis Obispo. During that process Cannon represented an assemblage of 13 different land owners in their negotiation with the City Council and the project’s eventual processing thru LAFCO. Subsequently, Cannon is providing Land Planning and Engineering services to entitle more than 500 dwelling units, including the 300- plus unit Righetti Ranch by Ambient Communities that includes Righetti Hill, the landmark 12-acre recreational area overlooking the project. This Community will include a variety of housing that will range from estate lots to an affordable housing complex. Cannon will provide onsite and offsite improvement plans and eventually the Final Map to begin construction of Phase I sometime late in 2015.
