A prototype ten thousand gallon per day capacity biodiesel processing plant was built in Bakersfield and installed in Denton, Texas. The plant is unique in that it processes used fryer oil and other vegetable oil to obtain diesel, methanol and glycerin. Biodiesel is a renewable alternative to petroleum diesel and can be used by itself or blended with petroleum diesel. It substantially reduces air pollution and is nontoxic and biodegradable.
Cannon reviewed materials, sized equipment, designed and drafted a comprehensive piping and instrument diagram (P&ID) and pump and piping systems, assisted in development of the control philosophy and operating procedures, design / seismic analysis of the skid and equipment (reactors, chillers, tanks, cyclone separators), provided fabrication and assembly details.Back to Service
