Penske developed this property as one of their strategic locations to increase commercial truck leasing to the region. The new Truck Leasing Facility includes a 23,800 square foot (SF) building as well as a 1,900 SF island for truck fueling. The building will house 6,400 SF of office area and 17,400 SF of space for truck servicing, with six large drive through service bays. This project required on-site and off-site public infrastructure improvements and frontage property dedications along Valley Boulevard in the City of Fontana.
Cannon prepared the preliminary engineering designs and documents to support the project through the site plan review and entitlement process. Once entitlements were secured, Cannon prepared grading, drainage, and on- and off-site road and utility improvement plans. The project also included code reviews, record drawing research, site investigation and evaluation, meetings with local jurisdictions, reviews of site plans and elevations, and concept landscape plans.
In addition, the project included the design of a significant underground storm retention facility that also addressed water quality requirements. Cannon’s team processed the necessary engineering documents to obtain approvals from the required governing agencies.Back to Market
