For the third year in a row, the Pacific Coast Business Times (the Times) has recognized Cannon as one of the best places to work in the Central Coast Tri-Counties of San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Ventura.

Cannon ranked among top businesses from Ventura to Paso Robles as one of the best places to work with 35 employees or more. As an added accolade, Cannon was the only engineering firm to rank on the 2023 list.

Each year, the publication reaches out to the community with a survey to collect nominations and determine the region’s best employers. Only individuals employed by an organization based in the region may submit, and each employee is limited to one survey submission. The survey measures key factors, such as company adaptivity, leadership strategies, and whether employees feel valued in their positions. Only the surveyors at the Times can see the responses.

President, Mike Cannon, stated that he was “pleased and proud” of the accomplishment: “The [Pacific Coast Business Times] asks that powerful question: would you recommend the company to a friend? I believe that if people answer favorably, it is reasonable to conclude that we are doing a lot of things right. I believe Cannon is a great place to work, and that’s affirmed by many of my teammates. We are happy and proud to earn this honor again in 2023.”

The Times will be holding an award ceremony at Santa Barbara Zoo on June 22^nd, 2023, to celebrate and honor the recipients with award plaques.
