ACI Jet Headquarters

To accommodate future growth, Aviation Consultants, Inc. (ACI) built a new headquarters facility and expanded an existing aircraft hangar at the San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport. The expansion project included a new multi-story headquarters building and a new aircraft hangar, more than doubling the size of the existing facilities.

Cannon was selected to provide civil and structural engineering, as well as survey services. Cannon’s civil engineering team designed site improvements, including utilities, grading, and drainage; aircraft tarmac expansion; and a parking lot expansion with permeable pavers. Cannon’s structural engineering team designed the building’s foundation and structural framing, shoring at the existing hangar, wind screens, and new stairs into the hangar. The survey group completed the as-built topographic survey and construction staking.
