Cannon provided civil engineering design and survey services for this seven-story, 148,000 square-foot computer sciences facility project on the University of California Irvine Campus.
Cannon’s scope of work included topographic survey; construction survey; and plans and specifications for on-site grading, drainage, water, sewer, storm drain, erosion control plan, dry utilities, relocation of existing utilities, and demolition.
This was a design-build, $48 million project that required fast-track design and construction engineering support, as well as working with the project architect to obtain Division of the State Architect approvals. This project received LEED Certification and won the Best Project Public Sector Building over $15 Million Award from the Design Build Institute of America.
