262-Unit Hancock Terrace Apartments

Hancock Terrace Apartments is an upscale complex built by the Towbes Group located in downtown Santa Maria, California. Comprised of four, three-story buildings, the project includes 262 units, pedestrian/bicycle paths, parking, a swimming pool, a community center, and outdoor play and seating areas. It is a first-of-its-kind project in the City. The project goal was to attract young professionals and college students to live in the downtown area.

Cannon provided civil engineering and land survey services to help our client gain approval of first the tentative map and ultimately the final map for the project. Cannon was able to overcome significant challenges relating to off-site sanitary sewer via advanced engineering design and extensive negotiations with City Staff.
