Modjeska Park Underground Stormwater Detention and Infiltration System

To increase capture and infiltration of stormwater, the City of Anaheim decided to install an underground stormwater detention and infiltration system under an existing 37,000-square-foot parking lot.

The City selected Cannon to provide engineering and surveying services for the installation of the pre-manufactured infiltration/detention system, installation of two laterals to divert dry weather flow and stormwater into and out of the infiltration/detention system, removal and replacement of the existing pavement with pervious pavement, and installation of a stormwater diversion structure to divert flows from an existing 48-inch reinforced concrete storm. The system is designed to capture and infiltrate a minimum of 182 acre-feet per year of dry weather runoff and first flush of stormwater to reduce pollutant discharge to the Bolsa Chica Channel.

My experience working with Cannon on this project has been exemplary. They have been responsive and reliable in working with our agency staff and in managing such a critical project. Cannon's design services included thorough preliminary design work which was communicated clearly to us through meetings and presentations. They completed their design work within budget and on-time.
