National Products 8438 Dallas Manufacturing

To meet increasing demand, National Products constructed a new 20,000-square-foot warehouse and manufacturing facility in Seattle, Washington. The company specializes in composite injection molding, rubber injection molding, sand casting, metal fabrication, and die casting. The design incorporated pitched roofs and a human-scale approach to help the building blend seamlessly with the surrounding residential neighborhood.

Cannon was selected to provide design for comprehensive site improvements, including grading, ADA-compliant access, landscaping, and the development of a 50-stall parking lot. Cannon also provided design for public street enhancements required along both South Orr Street and Dallas Avenue South frontages. In addition, a 600-linear-foot extension of a Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) sewer main was installed to serve the new facility. Stormwater runoff was mitigated with 100% infiltration, with parking lot runoff treated through a constructed stormwater wetland facility.
