Northwest University Business and Technology Building

Northwest University is planning to expand their campus by adding a new 45,000 to 50,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art Technology and Business building. Cannon was selected to provide civil and sitework engineering services during the initial schematic design phase. The design services included site layout, pedestrian and vehicle access (including a loading dock), water, sewer, storm drainage, and fire protection utility services, roadway relocation, and storm drainage mitigation.

To satisfy the project flow control requirements, the project design used an on-site regional multi-use stormwater flow control detention facility. Cannon conducted downstream drainage analysis and capacity review for the on-site storm drainage system. Cannon also reviewed utility and site as-built documents.
