Pagliacci Pizza Shilshole
To establish a new location for their customers, the Pagliacci Pizza chain found an existing restaurant facility and energized it with new life. This adaptive reuse and addition project included 1,829 square-feet of replaced impervious surface. Cannon was selected to provide civil and sitework design along with permit and construction documents, including a City of Seattle standard drainage and wastewater control (DWC) sheet with drainage evaluation, and a construction stormwater control (CSC) sheet, as well as a storm drainage calculations worksheet.
During the construction phase, Cannon revised the permitted storm drain discharge system to facilitate lowering a stormwater treatment bioretention planter and related downstream storm drain piping. The site layout design required multiple test fits for parking and access, especially for delivery vehicle routing. Satisfying the City storm drainage flow control and treatment requirements required creative design of roof runoff systems and coordination with bioretention facilities. Cannon also prepared the final record of as-built construction drawings.
