Playa del Rey Linear Generator Technology

As part of the ongoing support at the Playa del Rey Underground Storage Field, a natural gas distribution utility client selected Cannon to provide engineering services to demonstrate installation of a novel linear generator. The generator was installed to produce electricity that offsets energy consumption from the local utility grid. This project is considered a demonstration of green technology that uses low temperature combustion reaction, resulting in nearly zero NOx emissions, and is a pathway towards reduced carbon emissions.
