Power Systems Equipment Evaluation

Cannon was retained by the City of Monterey to evaluate the existing power system and provided a report with findings regarding equipment history, faulted conditions, and maintainability. Services involved electrical equipment evaluation in different perspectives, including establishing the age of the electrical equipment, determining maintainability (replaceability of spare parts), and identifying safety features (arc flash mitigation, maintenance mode, and infrared viewing windows). The analysis also included the review of previous test reports, shop drawings, and switch gear layout.
