BBQ For Water: 14th Annual Well Worth It BBQ A Huge Success!
Another year, another successful Well Worth It Drive-Thru BBQ! Cannon’s 14th annual Well Worth It Drive-Thru BBQ was held during the last week of July to raise awareness and funds for the global water crisis.
This year’s Drive-Thru BBQ sold a total of 275 tri-tip dinners, raising $7,600 that will be directly donated towards clean water infrastructure projects with Cannon’s charitable partner, charity: water. 60 dinners were generously donated to local families and veterans in need through our partnership with CAPSLO and the Vet Center.
With the $7,600 raised, over 240 people will gain access to clean, safe water. Cannon thanks all the participants who made the event possible! It truly is a community event. Thank you to all who purchased a dinner or donated directly to our charitable campaign.
A special thank you goes out to our partners (AMMCG, First American, Morris & Garritano, Sunrise Mortage, Nieporte Roofing, Specialty Construction, and GeoSolutions) who continue to support us year after year, and to Grocery Outlet for their annual contributions!
We want to extend an extra special THANK YOU to Cowboy Cookie for their generous donations of cookies for every dinner! That comes out to over 1,300 cookies! This act of kindness not only adds a sweet touch to every meal but also embodies the spirit of community support that makes the Drive-Thru BBQ possible.
Since the start of Cannon’s Well Worth It Campaign in 2010, more than $198,000 has been raised for clean water projects. For more information about Cannon’s Well Worth It campaign, or to learn more about the water crisis, click here.
