Cannon’s Holiday Cheer Meets Charitable Giving

12/31/2022

Cannon believes that there is no better way to give during the holiday season than to give to those who truly need it. The 2022 holiday season was no exception – Cannon raised and donated $1,150.00 to charitable groups in November and December.

Cannon kicked off the holiday giving in November with our No-Shave November campaign. No-Shave November, also known as Movember, is a movement that raises awareness for cancer and men’s health by foregoing shaving and grooming for 30 days. As part of the challenge, participants sent in before and after photos to show off their growth. Three winners were chosen at the end of the month, and Cannon made a $500.00 donation to cancer research. Learn more about No-Shave November by clicking here.

Childhood cancer affects entire families. In December, Cannon’s Charity Tree supported the Teddy Bear Cancer Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides financial, educational, and emotional support for families that have a child with cancer in Santa Barbara, Ventura, and San Luis Obispo Counties. Individuals at Cannon contributed $25.00 gas, grocery, and Amazon gift cards to 50 families in need with children battling cancer. In total, $650.00 was raised and contributed to this important cause. Read more about the Teddy Bear Cancer Foundation by clicking here.

Thank you to all who generously participated in charitable giving over the holiday season.
