Cannon hosted its annual Pancake Breakfast to kick off the first Well Worth It Campaign charity event for 2014 on Valentine’s Day. Hungry attendees gathered to enjoy a morning of heart-themed fun with friends, family, and sweethearts to provide underdeveloped communities with access to clean water.
The sweet aroma of maple syrup and savory sausages wafted through the front conference rooms, along with all the love in the air. Over 450 pancakes and numerous sausage trays were cooked-to-serve by Cannon’s enthusiastic team of in-house chefs who volunteered their support. Pancake fixings such as fresh berries, chocolate chips, whipped cream, and Nutella were also offered with unlimited helpings of coffee and orange juice. Tables were bedecked with candy hearts and other Valentine’s themed adornments to set the mood for the romantic pancake feast.
By the end of the festivities, over $1000 in event ticket sales and donations went toward the Well Worth It Campaign’s first well project for 2014. Cannon is extremely grateful to all of its volunteers who worked hard to make the event a success, and to everyone who attended for their generosity and support.
